HyerArchitecture is an ecological practice. Ecology is defined as the study of the relationship between living things and their environment; as ecological architects, we study the relationship between our clients’ desires and the particular characteristics of their site to arrive at our solution. Geography, culture, climate, resources, and imagination all inform the process, which is symbiotic and evolutionary – poetic and inevitable. The form of a project is not predetermined by stylistic ideas; rather it emerges from the design process, authentic and rooted in its place.

We have designed and built projects in a wide variety of scales and contexts. Each project is approached with the same high level of enthusiasm and dedication. We have worked in the commercial and residential sectors, competed for institutional projects, and offer a complete range of services, from feasibility studies and programming, through construction management and custom wood sculpture.
